Job summary

HC-One is recruiting for an operational Helpdesk Team Leader to manage the estates maintenance helpdesk across a large multi-site portfolio. Based at the Central Support Office in Darlington, you will lead a small team, monitor live maintenance, and ensure contractor performance and compliance records are kept up to date.

You will collaborate with Maintenance Managers, Regional Surveyors, contractors and Home Managers to plan and prioritise work, drive service standards, and deliver a safe,

Qualifications

• Experience in a helpdesk or facilities coordination role within a multi-site organisation.
• Experience supervising or leading a small team.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management, maintenance coordination, statutory compliance and PPM.
• Experience using facilities management or estates systems to monitor performance and records.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of estates helpdesk and contractor performance.
• Monitor live maintenance jobs and PPM schedules across portfolio.
• Coordinate activity with Maintenance Managers, Regional Surveyors, contractors and Home Managers.
• Lead and develop Helpdesk Assistants and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance records are accurate and up to date.
