Job summary

AD TALENT RECRUITMENT is supporting a well established independent school in Maidenhead to recruit a Groundsperson to maintain sports pitches, gardens and outdoor spaces used by pupils, staff and visitors.

This permanent, Monday–Friday role offers 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, with start in October 2026. You will work as part of the Estates Team, handling turf care, mowing, hedges, planting and seasonal maintenance, with opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in amenity grounds maintenance or greenkeeping.
• Knowledge of sports turf, pitch marking and horticulture.
• Full, clean UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain natural turf and synthetic sports surfaces.
• Mow, scarify, aerate, fertilise, roll and mark lines accurately.
• Maintain gardens, landscaped areas, woodland and external thoroughfares.
