Job summary

Isle Education Trust is seeking an Estates Business Partner - Facilities to lead maintenance across multiple schools, line-manage Premises Assistants and drive the Estates Strategy. You will manage contractors and oversee capital projects, building strong relationships with senior school leaders and ensuring compliance with policies and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within estates, facilities, construction or maintenance management.
• Experience managing maintenance programmes across multiple sites.
• Experience of contractor management and procurement.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Experience of leading and developing staff teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with operational delivery.
• Commitment to high standards, continuous improvement and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across all Trust schools.
• Line manage and support school-based Premises Assistants.
• Implement and monitor the Estates Strategy and maintenance plans.
• Manage maintenance contractors and ensure value for money.
• Support the development of capital funding bids and improvement projects.
• Oversee estates projects from planning through to completion.
• Build strong relationships with Headteachers, School Business Managers and Trust leaders.
• Help ensure work is delivered in accordance with Trust policies, statutory requirements and health and safety expectations.
