Job summary

Isle Education Trust is seeking an Estates Business Partner - Compliance, Health & Safety to lead our estates compliance and health and safety function across multiple schools. You will ensure statutory inspections, maintain policies, and provide assurance to senior leaders and Trustees on safety and compliance.

The role involves audits, risk management and working with school leaders to build a strong culture of compliance while supporting operational improvements and professional development

Qualifications

• Significant experience in health and safety or compliance management.
• Understanding of estates and premises compliance within complex organisations.
• Experience of carrying out audits, inspections and assurance reviews.
• Ability to advise and challenge leaders to improve safety and compliance.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust's estates compliance and health and safety function.
• Ensure all statutory inspections, servicing and testing are completed on time.
• Develop and maintain compliance systems, policies and procedures.
• Carry out audits and compliance reviews across Trust schools.
• Support leaders to effectively manage health and safety responsibilities.
• Monitor compliance risks and implement improvement plans.
• Provide assurance reporting to senior leaders and Trustees.
• Build a positive culture of compliance and risk management across the Trust.
