Job summary

Sirona care & health in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire seeks a Head of Estates Development and Projects to lead the Estates Management service and drive the Estate Strategy programme through strategic project delivery. You will shape policy and oversee major and minor development schemes while guiding the Estates and Facilities team.

The role requires expert knowledge of the built environment, experience in healthcare settings, and collaboration with clinical and non-clinical

Qualifications

Educated to Post Graduate Diploma level or equivalent in a building/engineering or built environment subject.
Chartered Member of a relevant professional body or working towards registration.

Responsibilities

Manage the Estates portfolio of complex projects delivering the organisation’s objectives as delegated by the Associate Director of Estates and Environmental.
Lead the development, planning and delivery of an effective operational Estate and Facilities Service function for Sirona.
Develop long term strategies for the Estate reflecting clinical and operational priorities, cost improvements and service rationalisation.
Manage departmental spend within budget, delivering required savings.
Oversee design and costing of Strategic Outline Cases and manage property lease negotiations and disposals with professional guidance.
