Job summary

Chulmleigh Community College seeks an experienced Head of Estates and Compliance to join the Executive Leadership Team. The postholder will oversee Facilities Management, Site Maintenance, Catering, Health and Safety and Project Management across the Trust’s schools, developing Estates and Facilities services in line with legal requirements.

The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week, all year round) and ideal for someone with premises or project management experience aiming to advance

Qualifications

• Experience in premises or project management within an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Executive Leadership Team.
• Coordinate Health and Safety and Risk Management and manage third‑party service contracts in line with current legislation and HSE requirements.
• Support the Executive Headteacher with the coordination of the Trust’s Risk Register.
• Undertake the role of Company Secretary, including Data Protection Officer.
• Provide all schools in the Trust with strongest estates and facilities service.
