Job summary

Peabody Estate Services is seeking a hands-on Caretaker to keep estates clean, safe and welcoming. You will carry out lighting checks, clean communal areas, and support on-site operations with residents and the team.

This fixed-term contract runs until September 2027. A company van is provided, along with a full UK driving licence, DBS check, and a benefits package including holiday, volunteering days and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK manual driving licence.
• Caretaking or cleaning experience required.
• Knowledge of powered equipment.
• Customer-focused and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Perform lighting checks and replace bulbs as needed.

What Your Day Might Look Like

• Start with a lighting check—swap out any bulbs that need replacing
• Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into cleaning duties across your designated areas
• Work closely with your team and residents to keep things running smoothly and safely
• Be a visible, approachable presence on-site five days a week

We’re Looking For Someone Who
