Job summary

Peabody is seeking an Estate Services Caretaker to keep our estates clean, safe and welcoming across the Barnet area. This hands-on, on-site role focuses on practical tasks and helping residents daily.

You’ll perform lighting checks, carry out cleaning duties across designated areas, and work with your team to ensure smooth, safe operations. A full UK driving licence and Basic DBS are required; interviews will be held in our Brent office on 30th September.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or cleaning.
• Good customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and lift heavy items.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Ideally has a full, clean UK manual driving licence
• Brings experience in caretaking or cleaning

In this role you will be covering the Barnet area.

This is a hands‑on role that involves regular physical activity, including lifting and carrying items that may weigh 20–25kg or more. The role also requires bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working at height, and spending extended periods carrying out physical tasks in a variety of environments.
