Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking reliable Grounds Maintenance & Bulk Collection Operatives to join our Estate Services team. You will work outdoors at sites in Bognor Regis and Worthing, performing hands-on maintenance and bulk clearance to keep estates clean, safe and well presented for residents.

Reporting to the Estate Services Manager, you will work as part of a small team, have a full UK driving licence, and be prepared to undergo checks. The role is physical and outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with bulk clearance or refuse collection
• Experience working in small teams
• Basic health and safety understanding
• Ability to plan workload and manage time

Responsibilities

• Carry out grounds maintenance across sites as needed
• Undertake bulk refuse collection according to schedules and standards
• Maintain communal spaces to keep estates clean and safe
• Represent Southern Housing in a professional manner on estates
