Job summary

RG Setsquare in Brighton is seeking an Estate Assistant to undertake gardening, grounds maintenance and cleaning duties across the estates. You will help maintain a high standard of appearance and service.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and, ideally, an NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or an HND with PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC certificates. Hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday; the position is temporary for at least three months and may become permanent.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Ability to liaise with customers and contractors.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or HND with PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC certificates.
• This role is temporary for a minimum of 3 months and may lead to a permanent position; 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general gardening, grounds maintenance and cleaning duties across the estates.
• Provide a high-quality service to improve the overall appearance of the estates.
• Report to the Estates Officer.
