Job summary

RG Setsquare in Brighton is seeking an Estate Assistant to undertake gardening, grounds maintenance and cleaning duties across the estates. You will help maintain a high standard of appearance and service.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and, ideally, an NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or an HND with PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC certificates. Hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday; the position is temporary for at least three months and may become permanent.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Ability to liaise with customers and contractors.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or HND with PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC certificates.
• This role is temporary for a minimum of 3 months and may lead to a permanent position; 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Estate Assistant

Estate Assistant required for the Brighton and surrounding areas, to carry out general gardening, grounds maintenance and cleaning duties. Reporting to the Estates Officer, you will provide a high quality service to improve the overall appearance of the estates.

You must have proven experience of grounds maintenance and gardening as your background, able to liaise with customers and contractors, and carry out all associated tasks to fulfil the role.

You must have a full UK driving licence, and ideally an NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or HND equivalent with PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC certificates.

This role is temporary and will last for a minimum of 3 months and could lead to a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
