Job summary

Battlers Green Farm in Radlett is seeking an Estates Caretaker to oversee day-to-day estate operations, safety, cleanliness and support for events.

You will work 1pm–5pm daily, report to the CEO Commercial & Estates, and help deliver maintenance plans and site improvements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with hand tools, painting and cleaning, a proactive work ethic, problem solving skills and basic IT know-how.

Qualifications

• Proactive, reliable individual with a hands-on approach.
• Experience with hand tools, painting and cleaning.
• Good problem solving and adaptability, basic IT skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Site Operations & Facilities: be the visible contact for visitors and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
• Clean, maintain and upkeep the site to meet or exceed expectations.
• Manage cleaning of public areas and toilets to high standards.
• Record meter readings and report usage data to BGF office.
• Plan and deliver routine and reactive maintenance for safety and operation.
• Maintain on-site signage with clear, compliant placement.
• Hold regular meetings with CEO to agree operations and maintenance plans.
• Develop and maintain a maintenance plan including asset management.
