Job summary

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is recruiting an experienced Estate Manager to lead estate and asset management across the council's property portfolio in Lisburn.

Reporting to the Assets Unit, you will manage the Estates Strategy, energy programmes, and compliance, with 37 hours per week on a temporary 26-week contract. Salary is £26.62 per hour, paid weekly, based in Lagan Valley Island.

Qualifications

• Degree or 5+ years' asset management experience in estate/asset management.
• At least 3 years post-qualification asset management experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, Building Regulations, Health & Safety Regulations and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Estate and Asset Management across the Council's property portfolio.
• Manage Estates Strategy, energy programmes and Corporate Landlord model.
• Oversee surveys, design, budgets and business cases.
• Oversee maintenance contracts, tenders and supervision.
• Prepare reports for committees and assist budget planning.
• Deputise for Head of Assets when required.
