ESS Employment Ltd is seeking a Crimping and Soldering Operative for site-based work in Stonehouse. The role is full-time, temporary to permanent, with a starting hourly rate of £13.08–£13.96 depending on experience and on-site shifts from 07.30 to 16.15 (Fridays 12.15 finish).

ASAP start with a closing date of 15 Nov 2026. You will perform small hand/machine crimping, produce wiring looms, and must be dextrous with very small components.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to do small hand/machine crimping and produce wiring looms.
• You will be required to be dextrous as you will be working with very small components.
• Previous experience with Cable/Wiring Harness.
• Be able to read customers drawings.
• Follow written instructions.
• Fine Soldering skills.
• Good Quality awareness as self-inspection of crimping/soldering is required prior to full inspection by QA.
• Good communication skills and able to work under own initiative when required.
