Job summary
A GIS Solutions Developer role is available in East Sussex with hybrid working, as part of a major digital transformation. You will design, develop, deploy and support enterprise GIS solutions using Esri tech across public-facing platforms and integrations.
The position emphasizes hands-on GIS development, collaboration with business stakeholders, and delivering scalable, secure GIS services with strong documentation and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience across the Esri stack including ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, Hub, Experience Builder, Dashboards, StoryMaps and Survey123.
- Solid Python development and automation skills for GIS workflows.
- Experience building public-facing GIS applications and integrating GIS with enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of a strategic GIS digital platform.
- Build and configure public-facing applications using ArcGIS Online, Hub, Experience Builder, Dashboards and StoryMaps.
- Develop GIS services, automation, and data management processes.
- Gather and translate business requirements into scalable GIS solutions.
- Design secure, performant, and supportable GIS applications.
- Provide technical leadership and GIS expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
