What You’ll Be DoingDeliver Engaging ESOL Lessons € Plan and teach
fun, interactive English lessons tailored to learners’ needs (Entry Level to Level 2).
Assess & Provide Feedback € Mark work, assess progress, and give
constructive feedback to help learners
improve their English skills.
- Develop Speaking & Listening Skills € Encourage confident communication to help learners integrate into work and daily life.
Support & Motivate Learners € Identify
barriers to learning and provide
individualised support to boost confidence and success.
Track Progress € Maintain
accurate learner records and ensure learners
achieve their learning goals.
Keep Lessons Fresh & Relevant € Work with colleagues to develop
innovative learning materials and ensure teaching aligns with
ESOL frameworks.
Create an Inclusive Learning Environment € Adapt teaching to suit different learning styles and celebrate diversity.
What You Need To Bring To The TableA recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training, or equivalent).
Experience delivering ESOL courses to learners at different levels.
A strong understanding of ESOL curriculum frameworks.A passion for helping learners achieve their potential.Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.Confidence with IT for lesson planning & learner record.
Bonus points if you have experience working with diverse learner groups and SEND support knowledge!
