Job summary

Hampshire County Council seeks a Curriculum Coordinator to lead ESOL and Functional Skills across Hampshire. You will plan, deliver and continuously improve the curriculum, ensuring high-quality learning for diverse communities.

Working with tutors and partners, you will drive learner success, support staff development, and promote an inclusive environment while maintaining safeguarding and inclusion standards.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating ESOL programmes and driving quality improvement.
• Knowledge of ESOL funding, Ofsted requirements, safeguarding and inclusion.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team and observe teaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of ESOL and Functional Skills programmes to learners.
• Plan and develop an accessible curriculum for Hampshire learners.
• Support and manage tutors to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders for learning opportunities.
• Drive quality assurance, monitor performance and report on outcomes.
• Create an inclusive, safe learning environment promoting wellbeing.
