Job summary

Gamma Communications plc is seeking an ESG Apprentice in Manchester to support the Sustainability Data & Reporting Manager. The role involves data collection, analysis, and reporting on environmental and social value initiatives while engaging with internal stakeholders.

You will contribute to the company’s net-zero targets, assist with audits, and support university scholarships and charity forums. A hybrid setup in Manchester is expected with on-campus induction.

Qualifications

• Understanding of environmental and social value concepts and their impact on business.
• Ability to manage data and support ESG disclosures using reporting tools.
• Strong communication of ESG concepts to internal stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist SDM in preparing for meetings with stakeholders (ESG Committee, customers, regulators).
• Collect and manage ESG data across UK and Europe from internal contacts.
• Gather, validate and upload ESG data (energy, carbon, waste, social value, supplier).
• Support ESG disclosures and reports under mandatory and voluntary frameworks.
• Collate evidence for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate social impact and charity initiatives (e.g., scholarships).
