Job summary

Sepura Ltd in Waterbeach, Cambridge is seeking an ESG Manager to lead the development, governance and delivery of Sepura's ESG strategy across Product, People, Planet and Principles pillars. You will embed ESG considerations into decision-making, management systems, product development, procurement and operations, and lead internal and external ESG reporting and disclosures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of global environmental standards and reporting requirements (e.g., GRI, GHG Protocol, ESRS, ISSB, SASB, CDP).
• Track record in developing and preparing ESG metrics, reporting and responses.
• Experience in ESG reporting within a global supply chain delivering to government/public safety organisations.
• Project management skills to lead cross-functional ESG initiatives.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for data processing.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong collaboration and networking skills across multiple levels of an organisation.
• Self-motivated, proactive with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the ESG Management Board, maintain the ESG roadmap and report progress, risks, actions and priorities.
• Oversee collection, validation and improvement of ESG data, methodologies and KPIs.
• Maintain oversight of Scope 1-3 GHG accounting and reporting against the Carbon Reduction Plan.
• Lead preparation of Sepura's annual ESG reporting with accurate and traceable disclosures.
• Monitor ESG legislation and procurement requirements and advise management.
• Coordinate ESG responses for customers and tenders, including benchmarking submissions.
• Lead materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement to keep ESG priorities relevant.
• Work with Engineering, Product Management and Operations to embed sustainability in product development lifecycle.
• Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to strengthen responsible sourcing and due diligence.
• Support social value, community and employee engagement initiatives with governance.
• Maintain and improve ESG policies and controls, aligning with ISO 14001 where applicable.
• Develop ESG awareness and training across the organisation.
