Job summary

KONE is seeking an Escalator Service Engineer to join our Service and Maintenance team on a full-time basis. You will service, maintain and repair escalators across Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and North Wales, respond to calls and join an on-call rota.

You’ll work with a seasoned team, benefit from training and clear career progression, with a comprehensive package including pension, health plans and cycle-to-work schemes. A UK driving licence and strong safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent UK Driving Licence
• Experience of working with Escalators
• Strong customer skills
• Excellent health and safety knowledge
• Good written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and minor repairs of escalators across a varied route covering Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and North Wales.
• Respond to customer call-outs and participate in an on-call rota of approximately 1 week in every 4-5 weeks.
