Job summary

KONE, a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, is seeking an Escalator Service Engineer to join our Service and Maintenance team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for servicing, maintenance and minor repairs of escalators across a varied route covering Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and North Wales.

You will respond to customer call-outs and participate in an on-call rota of approximately 1 week in every 4-5 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• UK driving licence required.
• Experience working with escalators.
• Strong customer-facing skills.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and perform minor repairs on escalators across Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and North Wales.
• Respond to customer call-outs in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in an on-call rota (approximately 1 week in every 4–5 weeks).
• Work as part of a experienced service team to uphold safety and reliability standards.
