Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to assure the quality of Energy Recovery System components for our 2026 Formula One program. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections on high-precision electrical and mechanical assemblies and raise non-conformance reports where needed.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on inspection experience in automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering environments and be proficient with GD&T and IPC

Qualifications

Experience in a quality inspection role within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering.
Hands-on inspection of high-precision electrical and mechanical components.
Knowledge of GD&T and IPC standards is essential.

Responsibilities

Identify non-conforming components and document inspection findings.
Record inspection data accurately in business systems.
Raise detailed non-conformance reports for defects.
Calibrate and verify inspection equipment daily.
Inspect Energy Recovery System components to drawings and specs.
Apply GD&T knowledge to inspections.
Ensure IPC 600/610 and J standards compliance.
