Job summary

MCS Group is recruiting a hands-on Project Manager in North Belfast to oversee an ERP upgrade go-live and subsequent data/BI projects. The role collaborates with Operations, Finance, Technology and external suppliers to keep delivery on track.

The ideal candidate has ERP delivery experience, strong planning and stakeholder skills, and a proactive approach to resolving issues. A condensed week is offered alongside a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Project management experience with ERP or major business-system implementation.
• Willingness to upskill where needed.
• Evidence of delivering go-live or testing, cutover and rollout.
• Strong planning, stakeholder communication and supplier management.
• Ability to gather requirements and work with technical teams.
• Interest in data integration, reporting or BI; direct delivery in these areas is a plus.
• Proactive, practical approach and ability to challenge delays.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, recycling or operational businesses is useful.

Responsibilities

• Complete an ERP upgrade as first priority.
• Work with Operations, Finance, Technology, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• This lean environment requires structure, momentum, and prompt issue resolution.
• Deliver projects with direct impact on day-to-day operations and reporting.
• Own defined ERP go-live and contribute to a broader project pipeline.
