An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Solution Architect to join our ERP Team. As our ERP Supply Chain Solution Architect, you will be responsible to gather and document business processes and requirements covering all elements from design release, sourcing, planning, manufacturing and assembly. Reporting into the Head of ERP, the successful would be a pivotal member of the overall ERP team responsible for the end to end Supply Chain service.

About the Role:

As our ERP Supply Chain Solution Architect, you will be charged to drive the transformation of our overall Supply Chain Solutions and Architecture to meet the demands of the fast paced Formula One business. That includes partnering with the business to understand processes and requirements, collaborating with a team of highly experienced and professional functional and development resources ensuring appropriate knowledge assets are created to ensure the right solutions are delivered, maintained and adopted.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of gathering business requirements associated with a specific and documented business processes and be an expert in converting these into an overall solution design following recognised best practices. In the case of Supply Chain, this is the end to end process of planning, sourcing, receiving and controlling materials following the appropriate design phase, and then ensuring the manufacturing and assembly is executed in the most efficient manner meeting all quality and compliance requirements.

Once the requirements are clear, documented and agreed by all stakeholders the Solution Architect will be responsible to work with all impacted parties to ensure that a world class solution is delivered in line with priorities and expectations. Example activities which may take place as part of this lifecycle:

• Exploratory workshops and demonstrations with internal/external stakeholders

• Solution blueprinting and Fit/Gap workshops

• Prototyping

• Unit, System & Acceptance Testing

• Hypercare and Adoption

To be successful you will have:

Essential

• Extensive experience of all SAP Supply Chain related modules and the broader SAP ecosystem

• Excellent planning, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

• Will embrace working in a fast paced, high frequency change environment.

• Demonstrable evidence of delivering results

• Considerable proven Supply Chain solution experience

• Significant proven experience in a SAP Supply Chain Domain Solution Architect position

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP PP/MM/QM/PM and the integration points with FICO and SD

• Experienced in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP

• Extensive knowledge of SAP Best Practices

• Good knowledge of the latest development methodologies

Desirable

• Experience of Agile, Activate and Product methodologies

• Experience of working within an Agile product based team

• Experience of recognised architecture frameworks e.g TOGAF

• Automotive or R&D Industry Solution Experience
