WD-40 Company is seeking a Technical Architect to evolve how our core technology environment works, linking our ERP to all connected systems with a clear, strategic roadmap.

You will lead a cross‑regional team and own the end-to-end integration strategy, balancing practical delivery with architectural excellence. This role requires hands-on architecture leadership and a track record of successful EDI/ERP modernization.

• Be the person who can sit across from a solutions architect and define what it will take to build it right with real technical grounding.
• Be the thread tying together how WD-40's systems work across every region.

This isn't a maintain-what's-already-built job. You'll be one of the people responsible for evolving how WD-40's core technology environment actually works — the connections between our ERP and everything plugged into it — deliberately, with a real roadmap, not a patchwork of quick fixes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the architecture connecting our ERP to every system plugged into it — EDI, iPaaS, custom integrations, ISVs — across a company still expanding its D365 footprint.
• Lead a ~12–18 month project to evaluate, select, and modernize the EDI and integration technology our business runs on.
• Lead a technical architect and a team of EDI/integration specialists split across the UK and US — people who are good at their jobs and don't need to be told how to do them, just where to point them.
• Be the person who can sit across from a solutions architect, understand exactly what they're trying to build, and tell them — with real technical grounding, not guesswork — what it'll take to build it right.
• Be the thread tying together how WD-40's systems work across every region.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Hands-on fluency with iPaaS platforms and where that technology is headed — more than traditional database depth, this is what matters most for this role.
• A working understanding of integrations and EDI — you know when you'd reach for an iPaaS platform over point-to-point integration or a tool like Azure Data Factory, and the practical difference between an API and a custom integration.
• A track record of building a roadmap and actually finishing it — vendor evaluation, a real decision framework, and the follow-through to execute.
• A leadership style that builds people up — you connect the dots between people, teams, and technologies rather than working in a silo.
• Epicor Kinetic experience is a plus.

About the Team

You'll report to WD-40's Director of Global IT Essential Services and lead a technical architect along with a small team of EDI/integration specialists based across the UK and US. You'll partner closely with our Solutions Architect — same problems, complementary lanes — translating what the business needs into integrations and architecture that actually hold up. It's a hands-on, technically credible team that values follow-through as much as expertise, working across a genuinely global footprint as WD-40 continues expanding its ERP presence through EMEA.
