Job summary

Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking an ERP Integration Specialist within the Digital, Data and Technology (DDAT) team. You will lead the design and delivery of ERP integrations across Finance, HR, Payroll, and procurement, while coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure secure, compliant and reliable solutions.

The role covers managing the ERP lifecycle, upgrades, testing, and change control, with a focus on data integrity and service improvement in a council

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in computer science or IT required.
• Experience managing business-critical applications in complex orgs.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and project management approaches (PRINCE2 or Agile) is advantageous.
• Experience with cloud/SaaS integrations and security/compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery and ongoing support of ERP integrations with Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement and third-party systems.
• Manage ERP lifecycle: upgrades, testing, configuration, change control and supplier engagement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and promote adoption of new functionality.
• Act as the liaison between business services, DDaT and external suppliers for complex issues.
• Monitor performance, maintain CMDB documentation and ensure alignment with council strategies.
