AerFin is seeking a Data & Systems Support Analyst to join our Crawley/Newport team. You will focus on the day-to-day operation and support of our Quantum ERP system, troubleshooting data and process issues, and supporting the Universal Update Tool (UUT) with Java-based components.

The role emphasizes operational support over development, requiring problem-solving, collaboration with users and technical teams, and ensuring system and data stability to underpin business operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP systems or operational business systems.
• Strong Oracle SQL knowledge and experience investigating data-related issues.
• Understanding of Oracle database architecture (tables, relationships, triggers, procedures, packages).
• Working knowledge of Java and troubleshooting a Java-based tool.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in ITSM environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ERP support for the Quantum ERP system, investigating incidents and data-related issues.
• Troubleshoot user issues by analysing business processes and data quality concerns.
• Manage incidents in Halo ITSM, ensuring proper recording and resolution.
• Support ERP data management activities including data validation and discrepancy investigation.
• Use Oracle knowledge to investigate issues in database objects and logic.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve integration and environment problems.
