Job summary

Modis is seeking an ERP Business Analyst to help drive a major ERP transformation in South Yorkshire. The role focuses on analysing processes, engaging stakeholders, and bridging operational teams with technology on a hands-on, industrial environment.

You will lead requirements gathering, gap analysis, and testing support for ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, or equivalents, in a production-led setting with on-site work 3–4 days per week, and an immediate start.

Your impact

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within ERP implementations or transformation programmes.


• Strong process mapping and business analysis expertise.


• Experience gathering requirements and performing detailed gap analysis.


• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.


• Ability to communicate effectively with both operational and project teams.


• Experience supporting testing, business readiness, and change activities.


• A practical, hands‑on approach with the confidence to challenge and improve existing ways of working.


• Experience working within a Production‑led environment

Who is this role for?

• Experience with ERP systems such as Unit 4, IFS, Epicor, Dynamics 365, QAD, Sage X3, or equivalent systems.


• Understanding of ERP best‑practice frameworks and process standardisation approaches.


• Experience supporting large‑scale business transformation programmes.


• Experience in diverse environments that's not 100% office based
