Severfield is seeking an experienced Erector Chargehand for a site-based role across UK operations. You will support the Foreman, supervise a team, and ensure adherence to company procedures and statutory legislation.

Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.

The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market!

Vacancy Details

The Erector Chargehand is a Steel Erector role, with additional responsibilities to assist the foreman and ensure persons working within the team are working consistently and adopting company procedures, following good practise and statutory legislation.

The chargehand will be available to step into the Foreman’s role and ensure consistency if they are on leave, or training.

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of Chargehand experience.
