Job summary

Wade Macdonald is recruiting an HR Advisor (ER Focus) for a 12-month FTC in High Wycombe. Fully office‑based, you will support a multi‑site construction client with around 400 staff and drive proactive HR across the employee lifecycle.

You will advise on absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases, support managers with HR queries, manage onboarding to offboarding and assist with recruitment during busy periods. A CIPD Level 3 is desirable; study support may be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ generalist HR experience.
• Solid employee relations knowledge.
• CIPD Level 3 desirable; study support may be provided.
• Adaptable and able to build relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievances.
• Support managers with day-to-day HR queries and ensure best practice.
• Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Prepare contracts, offer documents and other HR correspondence.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.
• Work with Occupational Health where appropriate.
• Assist with recruitment during busy periods.
• Build relationships across UK sites and maintain HR records.
