Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting an experienced Employee Relations Advisor on a 7-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on hands-on ER support for a large, highly regulated workforce, guiding managers through complex casework and ensuring adherence to internal policies and employment law.

You will work within a busy People Team supporting around 1,400 employees, with TUPE additional hires.

Qualifications

• Experienced ER professional with hands-on casework in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and disciplinary/grievance processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex and long-running cases, advising managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied employee relations caseload from start to finish.
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
• Support long-term sickness absence cases and investigations.
• Prepare investigation reports and support hearings and appeals.
• Provide guidance on employment law, policy and HR best practice.
• Build relationships with managers across the business in a unionised environment.
