Job summary

East Ayrshire Council is recruiting for a temporary full-time Early Learning and Childcare post at Riccarton Early Childhood Centre. The role supports children aged 2 to 5 and families, aligned with the Education and Community Plans.

PVG scheme registration is required, with references and pre-employment checks in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines. The post runs until 31 December 2026, with 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, Monday to Friday) between 7.45am and 6.15pm.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme eligibility for Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults.
