South Ayrshire Council is seeking an experienced early years practitioner to join the team under the direction of the Head Teacher. You will contribute to planning, delivering and assessing a flexible, high-quality education and care service for young people and families.

The post requires PVG scheme membership. The role is temporary until 30 June 2027 and the salary ranges from £11,664 to £13,084, with the level 8 grade.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership is required or updated before offer.
• Temporary post until 30/06/2027 with Level 8 salary grade.
• Candidates working towards degree will be placed at Level 7 until degree achieved.

• Plan, deliver, and assess a flexible high-quality education and care service for young people and families.
• Work under the Head Teacher to be an effective member of the early years team.
