Job summary

Gateley Legal is seeking an Equity Capital Markets Associate or Senior Associate (7PQE+) to join our national ECM team. The role will be based in London or Birmingham with hybrid working and exposure to cross-border transactions.

You will advise corporates, investment banks, brokers, and major shareholders on a wide range of capital markets matters, including UK and international listings, primary/secondary offerings, and related governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in equity capital markets and public M&A across sectors.
• Ability to mentor junior lawyers and manage complex matters.
• Strong commercial astuteness and cross-border awareness.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of ECM and public M&A matters.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the team.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
