Job summary

S&P Global in London is seeking a Technical Product Owner – Equity Calculation on a 12‑month fixed term contract. You will connect business needs and data dependencies to guide platform improvements within the Equity Calculation data capabilities of T3.

You will collaborate across PPD and other teams, translate requirements into actionable items, and help drive automation while balancing delivery and stability. This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner, BA, or hybrid PO/BA in an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of index products, calculation workflows, and operational processes.
• Experience with data-heavy platforms where data quality matters.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into delivery items for technical teams.
• Experience backlog management using ADO or equivalent tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Value Stream Lead on roadmap input, prioritisation, and delivery planning.
• Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and manage the agile backlog in Azure DevOps, ensuring clarity and readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and dependencies.
• Act as translator between business and technology for varied audiences.
• Support agile ceremonies and perform UAT to verify functionality.
• Identify automation opportunities and simplify data workflows within T3.
• Balance short-term delivery with longer-term platform evolution.
