J.P. Morgan in London seeks an Associate Product Owner for Equity Derivatives Product Development to drive end-to-end platform initiatives.

You will work with traders, quants, and technology partners to define and implement strategic changes across Margin Loans, Financing products, and Convertible Bonds. You will influence product strategy, ensure timely delivery, and align investments with business objectives, including occasional international travel and collaboration across Global Corporates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution.
• Ability to articulate complex software or mathematical concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Strong organizational and disciplined product owner skills.
• Experience in delivering large-scale projects in complex environments.
• Familiarity with product development and planning tools (Confluence, Jira).

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end implementation of new initiatives, defining business purpose, benefits, and technical requirements.
• Engage with traders, quants, tech, compliance, and risk teams to optimize derivatives trading platforms.
• Prioritize and deliver high-impact work for go-to-market and risk mitigation.
• Envision, write, and validate specifications for trading system features, focusing on Margin Loans, Financing products, and Convertible Bonds.
• Perform Product Owner duties from a Front Office perspective, establishing definitions of success.
• Align technology investment programs with business objectives and desired outcomes.
• Ensure delivery of technology investments on time, within budget, and scope.
• Establish governance and control processes for new business support.
• Monitor emerging trends and disruptions, assessing their impact on business platforms and client solutions.
• Collaborate with global teams and participate in occasional international travel.
