Job summary

Citi London is seeking a Testing Tech Lead Analyst to drive testing strategy across IT projects. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, translate business specs into test requirements, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end workflows.

The role requires 6–10 years in quality engineering with automation, knowledge of Equities trading and FIX Protocol, and strong analytical and communication skills. Hybrid work up to 2 days remote weekly.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in Quality Engineering with automation focus (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Experience with Equities Cash Electronic Trading workflows.
• Knowledge of FIX Protocol; native exchange protocol experience preferred.
• Proven AI prompt engineering for testing life cycle is essential.
• Basic Java knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and diplomacy to guide others.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute testing strategies and scripts for IT projects.
• Collaborate with users and developers to derive testing requirements.
• Create end-to-end testing methodologies for complete workflows.
• Analyze test results and advise on corrective actions.
• Estimate effort, duration, and dependencies for tasks.
• Monitor project progress and quality metrics; manage risks.
• Lead testing standards, tooling, and technology adoption.
• Mentor junior team members and resolve complex issues.
