• Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of three years post apprenticeship.
• Experience in high volume production/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state‑of‑the‑art compound semiconductor equipment to ISO9001/ISO14001/OHSAS18001 standards.
• Respond to breakdowns and return machines to production promptly with strong fault-finding skills.
• Provide equipment expertise to support process conditions and variations.
• Identify and implement machine improvements to increase efficiency, yield, and productivity.
• Train fellow technicians and apprentices and share knowledge from external training.
• Participate in 8D problem solving and contribute to action plans.
