Job summary

MBDA is seeking Equipment Requirement Authorities to manage equipment requirements, ensuring flow-down to suppliers, and securing validation evidence within cost/time/quality constraints. You will coordinate with design authorities and manage verification strategies across electrical, mechanical, software, and related properties.

The role involves preparing weapon system certification for trials or delivery, and facilitating technical information exchange with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Understanding of engineering design process and applications.
• Knowledge of high integrity hardware, networking technologies, custom electronics or complex mechanical design.
• Experience managing a small team OR team leader experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical status and progression of assigned work packages.
• Specify clear and accurate requirements onto the design team (internal or external).
• Work with national and international Design Authorities to define the solution and technical trades.
• Prepare certification of the Weapon System and Subsystem for trials or delivery.
