Job summary

Diodes Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Engineer Equip Maintenance Tech at the Greenock site. You will perform preventative maintenance on a suite of manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment, ensuring high standards and compliance across systems.

The role requires time-served experience with a minimum HNC in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and demonstrates aptitude for mechanical engineering and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs to improve tool availability.
• Collaborate with PM Group to ensure robust schedules and improved tool performance.
• Work with Shift Manager and Equipment Engineering on priorities.
• Reduce tool faults and improve availability during PMs.
• Demonstrate problem-solving methods like Why-Why and Difference analyses.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by line manager.
