Job Overview

Job Title: Equipment controller

Contract Type: Permanent

Main duties of the job
  • To process medical equipment, orders, telephone calls, recording of information on the eQuip asset management system and other related day to day activities.
  • To provide a full reception service and administrative cover to Clinical Engineering. The department manages 30,000+ assets and employees approximately 25 Clinical Technologists.
  • Working with External Medical Engineers and representatives, internal technical staff and managers, Consultants, Junior Medical Staff, Medical Students, Specialist Nurses, Ward/Unit/Department Managers, other Nursing staff, internal and external hospital departments, Ward Clerks, other secretarial staff, Outpatient staff and senior managers.
