Job summary

Hartpury University and Hartpury College is seeking a committed Equine Centre assistant to support daily operations, welfare, and student supervision. The role offers on-site shared accommodation and CPD training, with a 40-hour week over a 5-day pattern, and a permanent contract.

You will collaborate with the Equine Team, help with liveries and yard management, and contribute to educational events and international bookings throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Team player with high standards of horse care and welfare.
• Interest in Hartpury herd living experience.
• Excellent communication skills and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Equine Department to deliver safe, professional experiences for students and clients.
• Assist with supervision of students and liveries; help with yard management.
• Promote care standards, welfare and safe working practices; maintain a tidy, safe environment.
• Assist with running the Equine Centre, including events and bookings throughout the year.
