Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking an Equine Lecturer to join its teaching team. You will plan and deliver practical and theory sessions to learners, helping them build the skills and knowledge they need to progress within the equine industry.

In addition to teaching you will assess learners' work, track progress and ensure a safe, well-organised yard and classroom. Commitment to current industry knowledge and curriculum planning is essential to inspire the next generation.

Qualifications

• Industry experience within the equine sector.
• A teaching or assessing qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Previous experience of teaching or assessing learners

Are you an experienced equine professional looking to pass your industry knowledge on to the next generation?

About the Role

A further education provider in the West Midlands is looking for an Equine Lecturer to join its teaching team. You'll plan and deliver practical and theory sessions to learners, helping them build the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to progress within the equine industry.

Alongside teaching, you'll assess learners' work, track their progress and make sure the yard and classroom remain safe, well-organised environments in which to learn.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, delivering and assessing equine sessions to learners.
• Preparing teaching, learning and assessment materials.
