Job summary

Templer HomeBuild is seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS) and Compliance Supervisor to lead electrical compliance efforts across planned and reactive works. You’ll work with the Lead Compliance Surveyor to develop specifications, monitor progress and ensure safety, quality and regulatory conformance.

You’ll oversee electrical inspections, certificates, and contractor performance while supporting heating replacements and M&E investments.

Qualifications

• Hold relevant electrical qualifications (AM2 and City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and certification requirements.
• Good technical writing, CDM and Building Regulations understanding.
• Proficiency with systems, databases and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications, work programmes and contractor requirements; monitor delivery to ensure safety, on time and within budget with regulatory and organisational compliance.
• Support planned heating replacement and M&E investment programmes through contract administration and performance monitoring.
• Provide oversight as an Electrically Qualified Supervisor (EQS); review certificates, inspect electrical work and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
