Templer HomeBuild in Teignbridge, UK, is seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS) and Compliance Supervisor to lead electrical safety and broader compliance across planned and reactive works.
You will support the Compliance Manager and Lead Compliance Surveyor, review certificates, monitor contractor delivery, and ensure compliance with CDM, Building Regulations and Housing Standards. Electrical qualifications such as AM2 and City & Guilds are required.
Are you an experienced compliance professional with a strong background in electrical supervision? If so, we’d love to hear from you about our Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS) and Compliance Supervisor opportunity at Templer HomeBuild.
Keeping our residents and the wider Teignbridge community safe is at the heart of our work in social housing. We’re looking for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor who understands the critical importance of electrical safety as well as the fire, gas, water hygiene, asbestos and lifting equipment compliance areas. You’ll bring your electrical expertise to the table whilst supporting the Compliance Manager and Lead Compliance Surveyor in delivering all of these core compliance activities across our planned and reactive workstreams.
Whether you’re an EQS looking to broaden your experience into wider compliance management, or an established compliance supervisor with an electrical background, this could be your next step.
In return, we’ll invest in you and your future. At Templer HomeBuild, you’ll join a supportive, open and collaborative environment where you can build your career, and your hard work is recognised.
It’s an exciting time to join us as we prepare for the next phase of our valued asset management programme with Teign Housing.
Working with the Lead Compliance Surveyor and Compliance Contract Manager, you’ll help develop specifications, work programmes and contractor requirements, and monitor delivery to ensure compliance work is safe, on time, within budget and meets regulatory and organisational requirements.
You’ll also support planned heating replacement and M&E investment programmes through contract administration, performance monitoring and technical input throughout delivery.
As one of the organisation’s Electrically Qualified Supervisors (EQS), you’ll provide technical oversight, review certificates and check the quality of electrical inspections, testing and remedial work. You’ll help ensure all electrical work meets relevant legislation, industry standards and our procedures.
You may already be working as a Compliance Supervisor, Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager. Equally, you could be a qualified Electrical QS/EQS looking for an opportunity to work in a broader compliance leadership role.
