Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable configuration/systems support professional to join the Digital Services team. You will support the Trust's clinical systems, primarily Meditech, handling incidents and enabling effective clinical and administrative workflows.

Responsibilities include analysing complex issues, configuring the EPR system, producing documentation, and working with NHS partners to ensure standards.

Qualifications

• Strong NHS knowledge, good analytical skills, excellent telephone manner and customer service.
• Experience with patient administration systems and NHS IT environments is desirable.
• Ability to communicate complex information to non-IT staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support for the Trust's clinical systems, logging and prioritising requests.
• Configure, develop and enhance clinical systems to meet clinical workflows.
• Monitor and manage incidents in the incident management system with timely updates.
• Collaborate with EPR system team, business analysts and suppliers on changes and testing.
• Prepare documentation and advise on system changes, ensuring alignment with NHS standards.
• Participate in on-call rota and support out-of-hours activities for digital systems.
