A leading health trust is looking for a Communications and Engagement Officer to support the implementation of an electronic patient record system. This role involves creating communication strategies, engaging with staff and stakeholders, and ensuring effective information dissemination to improve patient care within the community.
Our One Devon electronic patient record (EPR) will be the biggest and most important transformational change most of us in Torbay and South Devon will ever be involved in. It will change the way we use and share information by having real-time data about our patients wherever and whenever we need it.
Our Communications and Engagement Officer plays a key role in the delivery and implementation of our EPR, creating content and co-ordinating and supporting engagement and communications activity to agreed deadlines.
The role sits within the EPR Programme team with oversight and professional accountability from the Head of Communications and Engagement (Transformation) and a direct working relationship with the One Devon EPR Communications and Engagement Manager.
They will work with the EPR Programme team on planning, identifying and delivering communications, engagement and other programme activities to drive awareness and understanding of the programme and ensuring that staff are actively involved to ensure the maximum benefits of the programme are achieved.
They are expected to provide a comprehensive and highly effective approach to programme communications and engagement to ensure staff, patients, the public and our stakeholders understand and are engaged in ensuring our plans benefit patient care and the communities we serve.
