JAM Recruitment Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a permanent EPOS Engineer to diagnose, repair and test electronic hardware to component level. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, applying your fault-finding and IT hardware skills to keep POS devices and monitors in full working order.

The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing and testing a range of devices, installing operating systems, and maintaining repair records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electronic fault finding and component-level repairs.
• Experience repairing monitors, PCs, printers, tills, or similar electronic equipment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and general IT hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

This permanent, full-time EPOS Engineer role, based in Bletchley and paying £30,000 per annum, involves diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic hardware to component level. The position requires strong technical skills to fault‑find and restore a variety of devices, including monitors and point‑of‑sale equipment, to full working order. Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, you will apply your expertise in electronic repair and IT hardware engineering to ensure operational reliability. This role is suited to a technician with proven experience in maintaining and fixing electronic systems.
