Job summary

GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician in Hull to diagnose faults and repair a wide range of electronic equipment for leisure and gaming industries. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with a salary of £13–£14.50 per hour, and join a growing team that values training, progression and on-site parking.

The role involves fault finding, repairing Windows/Android tablets, printers, monitors and gaming equipment, with hands-on soldering and testing

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electronic equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with Windows and/or Android devices.
• Confidence dismantling and rebuilding electronic equipment.
• Good soldering skills.
• An understanding of electronic circuits and components.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

The Role

As an Electronics Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and testing a wide range of electronic equipment to a high standard.

Typical duties include:

• Diagnosing electronic and hardware faults
• Repairing Windows and Android tablets
• Repairing printers, monitors and gaming equipment
• Component-level repairs where appropriate
• Soldering and replacing electronic components
• Testing repaired equipment before dispatch
• Recording repairs accurately using internal systems
• Helping maintain high workshop standards
• Identifying recurring faults and suggesting improvements

The Skills and Experience Required for This Role

Our client is looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience repairing electronic equipment
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with Windows and/or Android devices
• Confidence dismantling and rebuilding electronic equipment
• Good soldering skills
• An understanding of electronic circuits and components
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience repairing gaming, amusement or payment equipment would be advantageous, but is not essential
