Job summary
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced nurse to lead our epilepsy nursing team. The successful candidate will work closely with our lead consultant to shape the service we deliver to patients and will collaborate with the team to review the service and implement novel ways of working.
The post covers all UHS activity including Southampton and Portsmouth. We support flexible working and offer learning and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills
- Ability to drive service improvement
- Experience in epilepsy care or neuro nursing (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the epilepsy nursing team for Southampton and Portsmouth
- Collaborate with the lead consultant to shape and review the epilepsy service
- Implement new ways of working to manage increasing patient numbers
